Aquaculture Interactive version 1.0 - Known Issues
    • Issue      Posted Jan. 19/01
Windows OS: Hyperlinks to two digital film clips are non-operational within the Digital Video Index.

    These are:
-Milkfish "lab lab' algal diet (0:10)
    -Fish fingerling "flashing' behavior (0:10)

Windows OS does not like the inclusion of quotes in these links, and they are rendered inoperational. The issue does not effect Mac OS.

    • Workaround
These clips are still accessible from their context-specific program locations:

    -Nutrition/Sources of Nutrition/Proteins ("lab lab')
-Aquatic Health/Aquatic Disease Agents/Protistan Infectious Diseases/ Ichthyopthiriasis ("flashing')

Windows OS/Mac OS: The Units Converter returns incorrect values for English-to-metric volume conversions only. All length, area, weight, and temperature conversions are correct, as are English-to-English and metric to-metric volume conversions. The problem is caused by the accidental inclusion of an incorrect multiplication factor.

    • Workaround
The issue has been fixed in stand-alone versions of the Units Converter application downloadable here for both platforms.

    Mas OS - converter.hqx(3.3mb)
    Windows OS - install_converter.exe(2.5mb)

The downloaded file replaces the stand-alone version found in the Aquaculture Interactive/Goodies folder. The shockwave version of the converter located elsewhere on this site has also been updated. There is no fix for the in-program version of the Units Converter.

Windows OS/Mac OS: The built-in print screen keystroke command (control+p) is not active from the program Main Menu or the associated Credits, Acknowledgements, or Dedication screens. The command is active from all program unit screens - i.e., those not associated with the Main Menu.

    • Workaround
Main Menu and associated screens can be printed using system-level "print screen" command or keyboard commands. These screens may also be screen-grabbed and printed from another application.
